Connal TRUEMAN

One of Town’s seven goalkeepers used during the disastrous 2020/21 season, Trueman was signed on an emergency one-week loan from Birmingham at the start of March after initial emergency loanee Jojo Wollacott picked up an injury in the warm up against Northampton. Trueman had spent the first half of the season on loan at AFC Wimbledon.

Trueman debuted away at Sunderland in a relatively decent Town performance, going down to a 1-0 defeat at the Stadium of Light after Trueman made a decent save to deny Lyndon Gooch but was unable to stop Charlie Wyke’s header. He played three further games for Town - all defeats - including the home game against Oxford in March, before Town signed Lee Camp on a permanent deal to become their seventh and final goalkeeper of the season.
