Signed on a three month loan from fellow League One outfit Wolves, left-back Reckord joined the Town in January 2014 having played only two games all season for Wanderers. "They [Swindon] like to keep the ball, they pass well and that's my game. Hopefully I can add something to the team. I would like to play as many games as possible to build my confidence up." said Reckord upon joining. After making his debut as a second half substitute in the home win over Shrewsbury, Reckord slotted into the first team. However, results were indifferent, and one game in particular didn’t go to plan, as he conceded the first of two penalties, both converted by Lloyd James of Leyton Orient, in their 2-0 win. That proved to be Reckord’s final start for the Town as he was dropped to the bench for the remainder of his spell, his last appearance in a Town shirt coming as a late substitute in a win at Tranmere at the end of March.
