Jacob MURPHY

A member of Norwich City’s FA Youth Cup winning side in 2013, Murphy joined Swindon on a short-term loan in February 2014.

The attacking midfielder made his debut as a 63rd minute substitute at Port Vale - and it was a good introduction, as the Town went from being 2-1 down to 3-2 up within six minutes of Murphy entering the action. He went on to make seven appearances in total for Swindon in all competition but was unable to command a place or play a full ninety minutes.

Murphy would later command a £12 million fee when he left Norwich permanently for Newcastle United in 2017, the club he supported as a child.
