William MILLAR

A Scottish winger who signed for the club in August 1950, Millar scored both goals for the Town in the first ever floodlit game at the County Ground in 1951.

In his three seasons at the club, he made 75 appearances, scoring 18 goals - five of which came in his last eight games.

He left the club for Gillingham in July 1953, when a player exchange deal brought Ken Lambert to Swindon.
