Bertie DAVIES

Davies was a winger who signed for the club during the 1912/1913 season.

A local lad, he was transferred to Middlesbrough, but he returned to Swindon after serving in the Army in the First World War. He had a short spell at Luton in 1927, but he again returned to Swindon upon his retirement from playing - serving the club in many scouting and coaching capacities, and becoming assistant manager to Louis Page after World War II.
