Glenn COCKERILL

Cockerill never really fitted in at Swindon, and he made just 26 appearances for the Town after joining the club from Lincoln City in December 1979.

Despite displaying magnificent passing ability and a powerful shot later in his career, his form at Swindon was erratic, and he returned to Lincoln just before the start of the 1981/1982 season.

Cockerill is best known for his time at Southampton, where he starred in their successful First Division team of the mid-1980's - winning their Player of the Year award.
