Coca-Cola Football League Two Saturday, May 5, 2007 |
Swindon Town | Walsall | ||
J.Ifil (52') |
HT: 0-0 | D.Keates (90') |
|
Attendance: 14,731 | Referee: M. Jones |
|
Needing a point for promotion against table topping Walsall, Jerel Ifil scores an excellent diving header to put Swindon into the lead - the game surprisingly comfortable until Dean Keates' last minute wonder goal gives Walsall an equaliser. It's all smiles at the end though - the draw enough for the Town to go up in third place, and with Hartlepool losing at home to Bristol Rovers, Walsall seal the League Two title. |
