The longest running tie in the history of English cup competitions, Bolton take Swindon to a third replay, before an extra time Ross MacLaren goal finally settles it with just three minutes remaining. Watch for the disallowed Bolton goal in the second replay, back in the days when offside really was offside!

The epic cup-tie finally comes to an end - and though the third replay with Bolton goes to extra-time, Ross MacLaren nets the winner with just three minutes remaining.

Finally there is a winner at the fourth time of asking - again the game goes to extra time, making the tie the longest in League Cup history - but just when time was running out again, Ross MacLaren strikes to claim victory.
